The self-service e-Channel stalls in the exit hall of Shenzhen Bay are undergoing construction from October 14th for about one month, ShekouNews reported today. The renovation is expected to take one month.
The goal is to replace 17 old stalls with 19 new ones; increasing the total number of stalls from 37 to 39. During the construction only 20 stalls will be available, so expect delays while exiting during busy times.
The article advises tourists to choose other exit halls such as Futian or Luohu, or avoid going during busy times; especially from 8:00-11:00 weekend mornings.

A group of Chinese parents turned to violence at a shopping mall playground on October 7th after seeing their children fighting over a toy. Watch as fathers and mothers kick, punch and drag each other by their hair as their kids look on and cry. No security guards were in sight as four men corner one man, hit him with a stool and apparently knock him out.
The argument apparently started when one child stole another's toy.
Please be careful when you're out with your children. If you happen to witness something like this or find yourself in a similar situation, you can call the police at 110 for assistance.
