New Portion of Shekou's Seaside Promenade to Re-open this Month

Shekou News has recently reported that the westernmost portion of the Western Binhai Promenade will soon re-open; allowing visitors to make it all the way down to the Sea World Culture and Art Center.
The total length of the extension is about 650 meters.
The area, of about 50,000 square meters, is expected to be open to the public at the end of this month and will include a few new features.
Corrosion resistant stone railings
Various flowerbeds; including yellow marigold, purple sage, red bougainvillea, coral thorn, safflower jade hibiscus, phoenix wood, palace powder bauhinia, and others.
Sea viewing platforms and seating areas
Childrens Play Area
Sandbox Play Area
All of this now connecting visitors all the way to the Sea World Culture and Art Center.
