Task Force Removing Shared Bikes from the Streets

A special task for has been assigned to clean up the streets of Shanghai. According to a story released by City Weekend today, the task force was spotted in Huangpu district removing bikes from sharing apps such as Mobike.

The reason cited is "these bikes were now taking up communal parking spots, leaving no room for residents, shop keepers and those of us who own bikes and scooters to park."

 

Residents and property management have been making the same complaints in Shekou recently so it's possible that we'll see the same thing happen here.
