Thunderstorm Warning Issued for May 8th, 2019

UPDATE: By 10pm all weather warnings had been cancelled. This page will no longer be updated.
UPDATE: The SZMB cancelled their Rainstorm warning around 7pm. Their city wide yellow Lightning warning is still in effect.
UPDATE: The HKO cancelled their Thunderstorm Warning at 6:15 p.m. The Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau's city-wide Yellow Rain & Lightning Warnings are still in effect.
UPDATE: The HKO has extended the warning to at least 8pm today.
The Hong Kong Observatory issued their Thunderstorm Warning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019. It will be valid until at least 5:00 p.m. today. Squally thunderstorms are expected to occur over Hong Kong. Members of the public are advised to take the following precautions when thunderstorms occur:
1. Stay indoors. Seek shelter in buildings if you are engaging in outdoor activities.
2. Do not stand on high grounds. Keep away from highly conductive objects, trees or masts.
