The Global Investment Forum will take place on Thursday May 18th at Latina in Sea World, Shekou, Shenzhen from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. It is organized by Tilney -- The UK's largest private wealth manager with 25 billion USD under management and will focus on how to invest, grow and protect your wealth in today's ever volatile world, and provide a venue for Shenzhen's top business leaders to discuss how world events are affecting their business, investments and profits.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Mark Ommanney - Director, Business Development
Mark has spent over 35 years in the Financial Services Industry. His career started in 1975 as a Financial Consultant, followed by Branch Manager and ultimately Sales Director with the international financial services company, Sun Life of Canada. In 1999, with the gradual closure of Sun Life of Canada in the UK, he left to develop a technology company, IBNet, which he subsequently floated on the UK AIM market. In 2003 he returned to Financial Services as Chief Executive of the Life Insurance Association. Following its merger with the Society of Financial Advisers, this became The Personal Finance Society, the Professional Body for Financial Advisers in the UK, where he remained as CEO. In 2008 Mark was approached to join Bestinvest in order to develop their relationship with professional IFA firms who were looking to outsource their investment management. His main focus now is working with offshore IFA firms that look after the ex-pat community.
Wayne Ellis - Investment Director
Wayne began his career at Merchant Investors in the mid 1980’s and has held a number of senior roles in the financial services industry before spending five years heading up the private client investment business of Merchant Securities. Wayne is a manager of discretionary portfolios for private clients including American citizens, trusts, charities and pension funds. He joined the company in 2016 through a merger and has more than 30 years’ private client investment management experience. Wayne is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
